The first legislation regarding migration process was written in 1976. Since then it has been focused the toxicology of migrating components, establishing maximum global migration limits or limits specific for each monomer, that are detailed in the denominated “positive lists”. Since 2011 every member of the European Union applied the Regulation Nº10/2011 regarding plastic materials and objects intended to come into contact with food.
